Remscheid, September 2017 – When screws are really tight or hard to access, telescopic reversible ratchets like the 1993 TU-10 by GEDORE come into their own. The ratchet extends in eight steps from 400 to 600 mm. Fully extended, it makes an extremely efficient lever that achieves a torque of 600 N·m to release even the most stubborn screw connections with absolute ease.
The fine-toothed ratchet is designed for hand-operated socket wrench sets with ½" square drive and a ball locking device. Thanks to the push-button release, the end fittings connect securely without falling off, and are easy to remove. When reversing, the lever automatically changes to clockwise or anti-clockwise; the lock is in the middle position. The recessed lever change prevents it from releasing accidentally.
Thanks to its non-slip, ergonomic 2-component handle, the slender 1993 U 10 fits well in the hand, and facilitates safe, precise and fatigue-free working. Hot-drop forged from GEDORE vanadium steel 31CrV3, the strong telescopic reversible ratchet consistently proves itself in the tough daily routine of the workshop.
